If All Else Fails, Date Your Friend For 40 Days!
Have you ever considered taking someone out of the Friendzone and actually dating them when your well has run dry? It’s an idea that’s a complete no-no for some, but not for these two…
Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman are two New York-based designers, who also happen to be good friends. But they each have their issues when it comes to finding love; Jessica is a hopeless romantic and as a result she finds herself jumping from relationship to relationship in her pursuit of The One, while Timothy is a commitment-phobe who tends to date multiple girls at the same time. In order to try and overcome their individual fears and recognise their mistakes, they have decided to undertake an experiment by conducting a relationship with each other for 40 days (the time it takes to change a bad habit apparently) and go through all the motions involved – committing, spending time together, the companionship, and all the joys and frustrations that go along with it.
In order to carry out their task successfully, they have enforced a set of rules:
They will see each other every day for 40 days
They will go on at least three dates a week
They will see a couples therapist once a week
They will go on one weekend trip together
They will fill out a daily questionnaire and document everything
They will not see, date, hook up or have sex with anyone else
Hmm… interesting!

Do you think this project will work, Lurvlees? Would you ever try something like this with a friend?
Hmmmm I like the idea but the execution ….*runs through single male friends*. Yuck! No thanks!!!
