Ask The People: Who Was Your First Celebrity Crush?

One thing we learned from Paul Carrick Brunson at his event ‘It’s Complicated – Live’ is that our first experience of ‘love’ is usually with whoever our first celebrity crush was.  We based our idea of the perfect person on them and probably thought there would never be anyone quite like that person.  So for a little bit of fun, we decided to ask around and find out who people crushed on in their youth – who was your first celebrity crush?

‘Zack Morris’ – Saved By The Bell

 Zack Morris from ‘Saved By The Bell’, because he was cute, cheeky and he fancied Lisa which meant I had a shot! Clearly…

Kevin from Backstreet Boys, because I liked boys with dark features and green or blue eyes!

Bobby Brown when he was in New Edition.  I loved his rapping and I thought he was just the cutest boy I’d ever seen. I felt like he was speaking to me!

Dante Basco. He was cute and played the bad boy. I always had a thing for Asian boys and he was the first “dark skinned” Asian I had ever seen so I was instantly in love and ever since had a thing for Polynesians and people from the Philippines.

I think it was Theo’s friend Cockroach from The Cosby Show.  I have no idea why, but I just remember him being funny.

Winona Ryder… I think I was attracted to that goth look she had going on in Beetlejuice.

Pam Grier, because of the movie Foxy Brown.  I watched it when I was very young and fell in lust!

Janet Jackson in the Pleasure Principle video.  Dem black jeans and that phat ass!!  Wreaked havoc on a young fella going through puberty!!

Mark Owen from Take That.  He has he sweetest eyes and smile.  My room was covered in Take That posters, and I wrote his name with mine all over my school books and dictionary, which I sill have.
