Meet Naddine Bentley
My name is Naddine Bentley, and basically I am on a dating mission to find The One – my hubby. I don’t want a boyfriend just for the sake of it, that is what teenage years are for. I want to be in a committed relationship with the view of settling down and having children. I am 34 and surprisingly I haven’t lost hope. I believe he exists and is out there somewhere but I am getting tired of waiting and so refuse to leave it to chance. I have to destroy the fantasy that he will arrive on a horse, in shining armour, sweeping me of my feet, or see me on a train and pluck up the courage to talk to me, or arrive at my workplace as a guest and be left intrigued as to who I am and then send me anonymous flowers until all is revealed. Yes – I have an active imagination, through no fault of my own. I acknowledge that Cinderella, Sex and the City and Pretty Woman (please note: I have never been and will never be a prostitute) have all influenced my romantic visions, but it is time to get real!
In life we plan for what we want; buying a house or car or just general success, by setting achievable personal and professional goals. So why should my view on finding a man be any different? I want success, so here I am about to embark on my mission which I have set, and choose to partake in and get something positive from it. Welcome to 12 dates in 12 months.
Now… I know what I like, and I like what I like, but liking what I like has meant that I am single, so I acknowledge that I have to be open. This mission will not work with comfort zones, so the only requirement I have is that I have to be attracted to them or intrigued by them. So here it goes….
